It's July which means the "fall" season is nearly here: high school practices begin August 11th (less than 6 weeks!) and NCAA action kicks off August 19th when UC Davis plays Stanford in a preseason scrimmage.
There's no better time to get prepared, and our guides can help. If you're a new high school athlete (or parent of one), our gear guide has tips for choosing a stick and finding all the essential equipment. And our fitness guide offers advice for getting in "hockey shape." If you're a coach, we've gathered resources below to help you prepare for the season. Parents, we'll have more tips and resources for you next month—enjoy summer break while it lasts!
