We're thrilled to announce the rosters for Stick Together's inaugural Field Hockey All Star Invitational! On November 2, 40 of the best athletes from nine Bay Area teams will come together at Paul Goode Field in San Francisco for one final game of the season. The event is free and open to spectators—come cheer on these incredible athletes!

Why an All Star Game?

We wanted to create a meaningful finale that celebrates top talent and gives athletes a chance to compete alongside players from rival teams. It's a competition to build community and honor the hard work these athletes have put in all season.

How It Works

Nine head coaches nominated athletes from their programs based on performance, leadership, and sportsmanship. Those athletes were invited to participate in this mixed-roster event.

Team Legends (wearing dark jerseys), coached by Corey Hastings (University) and Ed Cortis (Tamalpais), will face Team Icons (wearing white jerseys), coached by Patricia Hubbard and Janie Rockett of Marin Catholic.

The Athletes

The 40-player roster includes 14 seniors, 12 juniors, 13 sophomores, and one freshman, representing every MCAL program: Archie Williams, Berkeley, Convent, Lick-Wilmerding, Marin Academy, Marin Catholic, Redwood, Tamalpais, and University.

These athletes represent the full spectrum of field hockey in the Bay Area—from multi-sport athletes who play recreationally to serious club players with college aspirations. Layla Grace Dixon (Convent) has already committed to Connecticut College, while Lucy Jeffers (Redwood) will play Division 1 lacrosse at Cornell next year.

A Note on Selection

The Stick Together All Star Invitational is an independent event, unaffiliated with the Marin County Athletic League. The official All League Field Hockey Team will be named at the post-season coaches meeting and historically features top-performing teams. Our goal is to create opportunities for standout athletes from every program—regardless of their team's standings—to compete and push each other to improve.

We can't wait to see these athletes take the field together! Mark your calendars for November 2 and come celebrate the best of Bay Area field hockey.
